    Power Outage during disk check??

I was running disk check for Windows 7, and the power cutout due to a neighborhood issue....
I am curious if this is going to mess up my system or not??
Please respond with helpful, adult replies, and thanks in advance!!

It shouldn't, Does your computer start back up? Have you tried running diskchk again?
    SSD or HDD?
More info would help a great deal.

Power going off normally doesn't cause a problem but it can.
Voltage surges can and at times will effect a computer.

When the power goes off it's best to unplug you computer so their is no voltage surge to your computer when the power comes back on.

If you can boot your system just try the check disk again.
If you can't boot I would try resetting the bios to default and try to start you system.

Most would consider me a adult and hopefully my post will be helpful.
