    Increase size of Recovery Partition.

My recovery partition is only 1.4 gig, and is 100% free, my other partition is 580 gig or so.

If I right click on the recovery partition I only get a 'help' option, the other one I get several options to play with.

I was able to shrink the big part. and that created another smaller partition which Iv since deleted, I hoped it would add size to the recover partition, but it didnt.

Any idea how to increase the size of the recovery partition?

There`s no reason to increase its size, that is a factory installed partition.

No need to touch it. Post a shot of Disk Management if you like.

If memory serves me, such partition's folders and files almost never show up within normal explorer expeditions. As AddRAM indicated - don't mess with it. I did once, had to do a Windows DVD boot & System's Startup Repair.

The recovery partition is designed exclusively for the purposes of restoring the OS if this should become necessary. It is not for your use and should not be modified in any way or it may not be able to fulfill it's designed purpose. It's being 100% free is only apparent, not real.
