Windows Explorer extremely slow

    Windows Explorer extremely slow


    When I open windows explorer it takes forever to load up. When I first open it it shows favorites and desktop with a magnifying glass over each icon spinning. The green bar gets to the middle of the X and then basically stops. What can I do to fix this?
