Computer refuses to enter sleep mode
Having some problems with bluescreen of death I make a thread here in the bsod forum and I'm adviced to reinstall gfx card drivers. I do. And it seems to fix the BSOD.
After that, things went a bit weird. I'm not 100% sure if the problem is caused by the driver reinstallation, but now sleep mode no longer works.
Previously the computer would enter sleep mode after 30 minutes of no activity. Now it no longer does.
After a fair amount of googling I found instructions on how to run "powercfg /requests". It should apparently tell me what is keeping windows awake, but the only thing it tells me is that a "Legacy Kernel Caller" is blocking sleep mode.
That tells me absolutely nothing. Googling it yields no information either. What IS a legacy kernel caller anyway?
I am hesitant to do any kind of roll back with system restore because of the fact that the driver reinstallation was specifically done to avoid bsods. I don't want to go back to an unstable state.
