How to measure RAM in use?

This PC is so slow opening browsers & especially thumbnails in pic folders. Can't see why. Its only re-formatted one week. Got Avira + MWBytes.

Is there a RAM in use widget?

Alf very simple - right click on taskbar > open Task Manager > open Performance tab see pic - hardly worth making up a widget

A core 2 duo isn't exactly a speed demon either. Run tfc.exe (google it) to clean up browser crap and temp files and also for the pic thumbnails, they are not through the network right? Locally stored pics? Your SSD should excel at this.
