How do you fix corrupted files found by SFC /SCANNOW
An attempted upgrade to Windows 10 failed at Stage 5. When investigating possible causes, I noticed that I had no restore points. Additionally, I'd lost some printers normally installed with Windows and/or MS Office (e.g., MS XPS Document Printer and Windows Fax and Scan). I tried to reinstall the facsimile from "Turn Windows Features on or off" in "Control Panel \\ Programs and Features" but the box that opened that normally contains Windows Features was blank.
I've scanned for viruses and malware with none found. I've established a new administrator user with no effect. I have run the deployment readiness tool (Windows6.1-KB947821-v34-x64) and the SFC /SCANNOW 3 times in normal mode and once 3.5 tomes. An in place repair install of Windows 7 does not work (stalls on stage 5). I have about 200 hours worth of programs and data installed and I want to avoid a fresh install if possible.
Is there a way to reinstall the corrupt files in their proper directories that SFC /SCANNOW cannot repair?
I have attached the last SFC /SCANNOW Results. Any assistance is deeply appreciated.
