Tried Motherboard Monitor 5370, but it won't load the driver & hangs
my system. Had to uninstall it. Anything else work???
Running Q6600 on Gigabyte GA-P31-S3G mobo. No OC. Win7 64 bit

Smartfan is nice, It does temp/fans/hdd smart data.
Gigabyte also has EasyTune6 which should have come bundled with your motherboard, if not it's available for download from their site. It monitors cpu temps, fan speeds, voltages, and offer's an easy way to overclock if your interested in that as well. Updates for your board can be found here:Code:http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Motherboard/Products_Overview.aspx?ProductID=2676
IMO, if a person is going to overclock you should not use EasyTune6. You should do it manually to be safe. ET6 leaves too many options to "Auto" which can have an adverse effect on voltages. It can be used effectively as a monitor as the above poster stated.
I know overclocking is not the gist of this thread, but I think a person should be forewarned.
