    Hi,
    Well first off almost everything should be tested as unchecked in msconfig
    The exception would be leaving your antivirus program checked :)

    No telling what's up could be hard drive issues or clogged up cpu cooler ?

    bootup is slow


    ThrashZone....I did what you told me to do...I think. I rebooted later with these all unchecked but still the same slow waiting to get on. I went and bought spotmau but that didn't help either.I am really at a loss here. I thank you for trying to help me here.I made a boot disc,did scan disc and many other programs.just can't figure the hot boot and the cold boot

    Hi Ron,
    My bet is you've got an Iphone, and D/L pics.
    Its more than likely its Apple/Bonjour/java, in conjuction with each other.
    (Apple installs the other 2)

    You could try going
    Controlpanel>>Admintools>services> set them to manual.
    right click on service > properties > use dropdown to select manual.
