    Can anyone do "health checkup"? Laptop got very slow


    My laptop has got very slow since last few days. My Acer TravelMate 4335's configuration is Core 2 Duo and 2 GB RAM.

    I can see in Task Manager that without any applications running CPU consumption is 60-70% and with Chrome running it goes to 100%

    Can anyone help me on this please? Do I need to upload any diagnostic files?

    Biker try first simply to do a System Restore to a time before this started happening. Then perhaps watch-out for updates to Chrome or some such.

    A system restore certainly couldn't hurt. I would try running a complete set of malware/virus scans also. What anti-virus are you running?
