Windows 7 boot chkdsk loop?

    chkdsk runs fine now, and the sfc could not correct anything
    and i have run both of them a bunch of times now

    Hi Mark,
    follow this link and run this, (SURT, system update readiness tool,).
    Download System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB947821) [October 2014] from Official Microsoft Download Center
    It will produce a 1/2 page report, post it please.

    One problem, When i run it i get
    Installer encountered an error: 0x80070424
    The specified service does not exist as an installed service.

    Hello fellow osu! and Norigami fan, welcome back to the forums.

    If you haven't already install all latest updates from Windows Update. If you've done that and it dosen't work try to boot off of an install disk after that select the 'Repair my computer' option and finally let it click the option that says to check for errors.
