    Location not found error message

I work in a bookstore and the folders that basically have all of our important documents and lists has just started giving us an error when we try to open it.

I've tried it through the 'Last Good Configuration' setting, I've tried system restoring it a few times and I've tried running Command Prompt with gpupdate /force but nothing has worked.

    Any ideas?

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
Not sure what's up but I do notice under Computer the system reserved partition has a drive letter signed to it ?
I don't believe it should have one and not sure how to remove it.

Elements D is also pretty weird looking seeing there is 2 of them.

    Thank you!

Yeah, I'm not sure why that is. It has had a drive letter assigned to it since I started working here a few years ago but we've never had problems with it. And I'm not sure where the second Elements D came from. I don't know if another employee managed to do that but it popped up there a few weeks ago. Again, there was never problems with it. Both of them opened fine and we were able to access our files until a few days ago.

If anyone else can think of anything, I'd really appreciate it! :)

As its only showing it under >>Favourites<< its only a link, you should be able to access it under (2),
If you can then just remove the other link and it should default back to normal.
(just means someone has accessed the main folder and Favourited again.)

    Hi,
Yea the the first link to D was probably broken so they added it again without removing the original

Right click the Favorites main listing and select Restore favorites links.
Then just reestablish the link again.

I get that error message when I try to open both of them. I just tried to restore them to a previous version but I get this message for the both of them as well.
