    CPU and GPU Temps Question

These were the temps while I was playing LoL (League of Legends). I felt that it was quite high for a normal game like LoL.

    CPU:
    Code:

It was even going around 80 for the CPU.

Edit: I was just running Bluestacks (an Android emulator for Windows and my CPU temp is playing around 75 to 80 C.

    GPU:
    Code:

I don't have any special coolers just the stock one. I also have the thermal paste applied.

    Hi,
I'd look into a better cpu cooler and possibly add some more case fans
Not sure what case you have it's not listed in system spec's

Cooler master 212 evo is a good cpu cooler if you have room for it
Not sure if it will fit on your board or not I did not check the cpu socket compatibility
Amazon.com: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan (RR-212E-20PK-R2): Electronics

Your temperatures are wonderful if you are in a 95 degree F room and horrible if you are in a 55 degree F room.

You don't say, so we can't draw any conclusions at all.

Not to mention what case and case fans you have.

There's more to it than simply what CPU cooler you are using.

But you haven't mentioned those important details.

Having said that, the Intel CPU should run all day and all night indefinitely at your temps.

But a lot of people think that 55 is better than 70 and obsess over temps regardless of performance issues.

If 55 is better than 70, then surely 30 is better than 55. Why stop at 55?

@ThrashZone: Yeah I was actually planning on buying that soon. I think it is compatible with my CPU.

@ignatzatsonic: For the case, I have a generic one I bought here in Korea. It's almost summer here so the room temperature let's say is around 27 to 30 C.

    Hi,
    It's a good cooler
How many case fans do you have ?
It's best to have a couple dedicated intake and a couple dedicated exhaust fans too.

lol yea and of course 30c is better but that will take liquid cooling which is not going to happen at 30.us for the 212 evo but for a budget you can't hardly beat it

The only way I would get a Hyper 212 EVO is if I could get it for no more than 20 to 25 US dollars.

For 35 US dollars, you can get the much better, much quieter Cryorig H7.

The Hyper 212 EVO was all the rage 3 or 4 years ago, mostly because it was easily found and often on sale.

But--in 2016 at more than $25, it's been easily surpassed by several coolers in it's price range.

If you can't get the better products in Korea, then do what you have to do.

    27 is 81 Fahrenheit.

    That's a hot room.

Knocking that down by a few degrees would have a similar effect on your temps.

If you can't knock it down, live with it and decide if you want to live with your temps.

Your anxiety over your temps says you probably don't want to live with your temps, so start cooler and/or case shopping.

An improved cooler alone will make a difference, but if you've got a horrible case with poor fannage, don't expect miracles.
