ChkDsk fails completely - PLEASE HELP
I've spent many many many hours trying to find out what is the problem, so let me explain to you what I've gone through.
First encounter: I scheduled a chkdsk C:/r for next reboot, sweet right? Go to sleep and wake up, boot up the PC and go take a shower only to come back to reveal some awful pixelation on the top of my monitor on the left and right areas, at this point I'm like WTF? I do some reasearching and find that Kaspersky could be messing with the chkdsk utility, I keep trying to fix it and it gets really annoying when I can't just F8 and go to the previous good boot settings, I have to do a system restore just to get back onto windows.
After doing this about 5 times I get fed up and reformat, so here I am.
Immediately after doing so, no programs installed nor any internet connection, just a FRESH install, I run the chkdsk and it fails - except this time I have the startup GUI logo back due to the reformat and it displays the chkdsk countdown to cancel it, yet it freezes at 1 seconds every time, I left it to do its thing and came back to reveal the PC shut off, turn it on and it reveals a black screen and nothing more.
I've ran the fsutil dirty query C: - It outputs that the drive is not dirty.
I've ran bootrec fixmbr/fixboot.
I've ran chkdsk from the recovery console, it outputs that it cannot write to a log file due to 'status 50'.
I have no idea what's going on, ANY help would be GREATLY GREATLY appreciated.
