    Windows explorer not working...

    Hi All, long time lurker, nearly always found my answer without posting, so thanks for that.

    But now I'm here, so hello!!

    Since about 2 days ago if I open My Computer, Documents, Control panel, recycle bin, even try view Bluetooth devices I just get an blank window with rotating circle loading icon, window title is just "Windows Explorer".

    Doesn't close, just stays there.

    (Luckily if I gotta I can open a notepad doc, click open or save as and manipulate files from there, nice workaround but severely limited and a pain in the a$$)

    Also my right click>Send to menu is blank. This seems to have happened at the same time..

    Tried System restore to when I knew it worked, no dice..

    Will post some screenshots if necessary but not sure if I'm allowed as a newb. Think I explained it clear enough though...

    Many Thanks for reading and any suggestions!!

    Ok, sry about that;

    Just did another sys-restore to a point WAY back before this problem manifested. The problems I described in initial post are resolved (does that make sense?).

    But system is slow as fcuk now, used to be streamlined... Running A/V checks etc, may need a rebuild. Pain in the ass though because I've spend ages tweaking and have FUD. But shiet happens, least it's usable for time being.

    Thanks again...
