    So Scared. If my HDD erases my data..


    Guys. Today i launched my pc. everything went fine. but when launching utorrent. it says.. umm my pc is in arabic. and google translate doesn't translate the words correctly. what did i understand is: "Cannot open the resume file. maybe you lost some data." UMM. does this because my HDD ? is it removing my data ? I'm Scared because the HDD got 30 bad sectors. and i think it's during it's ending life. Sooo. do you think guys it's my HDD or it's normal ?? Please answer. i am so scared. my HDD got so much important data on it. and i won't them erased ! (sorry for my bad english. Forgive me)

    If it has bad sectors it's dieing and could go at anytime and you would loose everything

    If your computer contains important files they need to have a backup copy. All files of any importance should have at least one backup copy, 2 or more backup copies if the files are of particular importance. This is important even with a new drive but doubly so if the drive has problems.

    Agree with the others.
    It's certainly not normal.
    The drive is likely dying.

    I agree that you ought to copy/backup all your data to other locations (cloud, removable media, USB external hard drive, etc) ASAP.
    You cannot predict when it will totally fail.
    Once it does, data recovery will be much more complicated and (potentially) expensive.
