Could that be the reason, for macrium restore, pausing for 12-15 mins before starting restoring the backup?
I don't think that macrium backup program and the file is conflicting, unless the backup drive is plugged into USB port. The file usbhub.sys.mui is not corrupt, but rather, SFC gets confused by the version. It first thinks the file is corrupt when it compares it to the older version and "repairs" it. Then, it compares it to the newer version, and since it already replaced it with the older version, it thinks the file is corrupt. It again "repairs" it, and nothing changes. The file itself is not corrupt.

    1. Correct, the backup drive is plugged into USB port.

    2. As mentioned, in another thread, creating a backup including verification takes 13 mins on the same drive plugged in.

    3. While restoring, verification is swift, but stalls at backing up, Attempting SSD Trim > till SSD Trim is successful takes 12-15 mins (total time 29 mins).....that's strange, with this new setup method of W7 install....either the issue is the rescue media, W7 install method, sfc error...... never happened earlier?

    Thanks again!

    Alex.

    Hi

Lets trace the file to its update

    SFCFix Fix
This fix is very specific for Alexey2912's computer. Trying this fix on your own computer might damage your computer. If you are after assistance, create a new thread, and you will be assisted shortly.

Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and move the executable on your Desktop.
Download the attached SFCFixScript.txt and move the archive to your Desktop
Note: Make sure that the file is named SFCFixScript.txt, do not rename it.
Save any work you have open, and close every programs
Drag the SFCFixScript.txt file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it
SFCFix will launch, let it complete
Once done, a file will appear on your Desktop, called SFCFix.txt
Open the file, then copy and paste its content in your next reply

Hmm been away sick for a couple of days so haven't been able to catch up and reading the last few posts some really informative stuff (for me anyway).

I take my hat off to CKing for his knowledge of stuff that may as well be in Klingon LOL!!

Drivers can't be traced to updates because they technically aren't. On the bright side, the file itself is not corrupt, but every time SFC is run, it is going to "repair" the file each time.
