    Here is a quote from the tutorial:
    19. Click on the option for your computer's location to select the correct network location type settings to be applied for that location. (see screenshot below)
    NOTE: It is best to select Public location for the best security.

    Yes you can change it.
    I don't think Homegroup works with a Public Network, so if you use Homegroup that might be an issue.

    Here is a tutorial about setting the Network:
    Network Location - Set as Home, Work, or Public Network

    Yep as David has said mate Shawn must be doing it 24/7 and not only 7 forum but the others too!!
