    Glad you got things fixed.

Did you use Clean Startup to find the problem?

Yup. I used clean startup and just started adding things back in until it broke. That was after I looked at the trace log and it showed that MB3 was taking a long time to shut down.

Yep pleased it is solved mate - it just strikes me that there are some really weird "situations" out there with stuff we use in all faith from the manufacturers.

For example in a nutshell my main desktop lost all USB ports and that was caused by the Samsung Magician SSD software - took it out and back they came
It's really weird that MalwareBytes would do that. It must have been a behind the scenes update, because I've used AntiRansomware for ages with no problems, then just suddenly, out of the blue, this happens. Oh well it's fixed now. Shuts down in three seconds. :)

You could of caught Malwarebytes or any other program that is set to auto update during your shut down.
I personally don't have anything that auto updates.

It seems several people are having a slow shutdown problem with MalwareBytes Anti Ransomware.
Here's a couple of the recent threads on their forum:

Hmmm. Seems like I'm not the only one. I hope MalwareBytes can get this fixed soon. The product is wonderful and I'm enjoying doing the beta test.
