Win 7 boots slowly - continue finding root cause - problem never stops
Hi everyone!
I'm the person who has a thread about the problem of slow booting in Windows 7 and the problem seemed closed about two weeks ago. I was glad to say that I had found the problem to cause it after trying a lot of solutions from members in the forum: it was registry cleanup tool. However now, I am get into this trouble again.
So I am willing to open this problem again to try everything as much as possible to find a true root cause that makes my OS like this.
If you follow me in the old thread Windows 7 boots slowly with black screen after "Welcome" , you will know that I have three OS in my computer. One is Win that I use for my main tasks, one is another Win 7 that I use to find the reason to cause slow boot on the first win 7, the rest is win 10.
After deciding the registry cleanup tool causes the problem, I re-installed my first windows 7 (I still call it first win 7). This time, I avoiding using registry cleanup tool on Ccleaner. Things I do: Install drivers from manufacture, update OS, install software like Office, Chrome, AV (Avast). That's it.
My system is so smooth and boot quite fast, but after installing Avast (I installed it after other softwares), the OS gets into slow boot again, so annoyed, right after the first reboot. I'm thinking that Avast is another reason causes that, but the crazy thing is Avast on the second Win 7 doesn't. Second Win 7 still boots fast and smoothly.
Here, the biggest difference between them is one is updated, one isn't. Unfortunately, the slow boot happens only after installing avast, not after installing windows updates.
To make it clearly for you, I capture the bootings.
In the video, you will see the booting of the two Win7s.
Something different between these two.
First Win 7 (have slow booting), is up-to-date (all OS and Office software). It has system reserved partition (when I re-installed, I deleted its partition and created again).
Second Win 7, hasn't been updated yet, some softwares are installed on this OS. The number of start-up items is more than the first win7's
Both OSes have the same drivers from manufacture, both are defragged.

Ignore those solutions: remove startup programs, update system.
I'm planning to use Windows Performance kit to trace the booting like this artile:Trace Windows 7 boot/shutdown/hibernate/standby/resume issues - Windows 7 - MSFN
But at first, I would like to hear your suggestions. I hope that you're ready to help me get out of this! Thanks!
