    Could you explain why you are using F8 to run sfc /scannow?

    Could you complete this tutorial by Golden and post the picture as per the tutorial.

    I used f8 to get into the safemode menu which happened to have the "repair your computer" selection so I booted in to that where I could choose the CMD, System restore, memory check options. I run sfc within the CMD dos box.
