    CPU usage spikes

    Hey everyone! :)

I have been having CPU usage problems for some time now. Recently i bought a new cooler for my CPU to resolve that problem. Before i had 70C while gaming while now i have 35C tops, but still CPU usage goes up and down fast. I downloaded Procexp to see what is going on and i captured few processes that caused higher CPU usage while i wasn't playing games.

Here i only had skype, steam and two chrome tabs open. Here are the pics:

I was on tomshardware asking regarding this issue and they suggested me to manually update my windows, which i did but nothing changed.

This problem causes fps drops while playing games which is really noticable because i lose around 50fps for few seconds and it goes back to normal. Did a virus scan - 0 threats.

Today i was playing CSGO on a deathmatch server that had 20 people and it went smooth for the first 5min then the lags started to happen. As i saw my PC doesn't have a problem when there are 20 people shooting because i had 110fps there but then every 30 seconds fps kept droping to 60 and then it stays like that for 5 seconds and goes back to normal. It was unplayable so i quit the game and went to procexp and waited to see what will show with high cpu usage. And wouldn't know it, it was svchost.exe that showed on the list and ate 18% and dissapeared after 3 seconds.

Didn't see nothing abnormal on the images you posted.
When Win updates is searching, it uses a lot of resources.
Try to disable it on services. %windir%\system32\services.msc

Disable windows update in the services tab, your rig will run better. Take a day to defrag, clean the dust out, clean up system files, uninstall useless programs, update others, run SFC and CHKDSK. Run a virus and malware scan.

You should be able to find the issue one way or another. If you haven't then maybe you have hardware issues.
