Cannot remove weird named folders in my removable USB HD!

Some weird named folders keep appearing in my removable USB disk. I would like to remove them but Windows doesn't allow me.

Well I don't care to know what it is. I just want them OUT. I would like to know how can I unlock and delete it.

Have you already tried removing from within Windows Safe Mode? If that did not work, prepare a Puppy Linux usb or dvd boot, and its file manager to delete those pesky folders and/or files.

You have to find out HOW and WHY weird named folders keep appearing in your removable USB disk. If you just delete them and a program recreate them, you will be running in circles.
Did you run a anti virus and a spyware detector (SUPERAntiSpyware - SUPERAntiSpyware Portable Scanner)

Megahertz, I agree with you, however, since the end-user is adement[sp?], I chose not to argue the already-raised point by an earlier poster.

Roland, not saying that the Linux solution is bad. In fact I have Lubuntu installed on my SSD and I used it many times to delete some Win files or folders.
My focus is always more on the know why then the know how.

How does it not allow you? What error do you get?
