Short and sweet yes,
you only need a storage medium disc/usb to save it on.

I thought the downloads at Microsoft Windows and Office ISO Download Tool are full OS ISOs that require a product key in order to use - different from a generic Repair disk that can be used on any computer running the particular OS on the Repair disk. Did I misunderstand?
All win 7 64 installation disks have all brands (home, HP, pro and ult). What makes the difference is a file (\sources\ei.cfg) that defines witch one to install.
The maintenance wizard is the same for all brands.
The key is only needed to activate.
So you are saying that an installation disk is the same as a repair disk? Aren't they two distinctively different things?
NO, in reality there identical apart from obviously x32 x64.
I have one Windows 7 Pro 64-bit repair DVD for all three of my Windows 7 Pro 64-bit computers.
What I do not know: can a W7Pro repair a W7Ultimate or other? Can a 32-bit DVD repair a 64-bit, or vice-versa?
"What I do not know:"
- can a W7Pro repair a W7Ultimate or other? YES
- Can a 32-bit DVD repair a 64-bit, or vice-versa? NO
