    Memory Optimizer

Guys i've got serious problem with the memory (it's only 512 MB) and i know i should go and buy some more but meanwhile can i use some tool (momory optimizer) to prevent my PC form freezing or at least to make it little more smoothly?

My firefox is lunching 120 000 K with two tabs and one flash (at facebook)
The PC keeps freezing and it is really annoing

    Hi and welcome

Sorry but the amount you have is the amount you get. Optimizing with an app will use more than it frees You could try and increase your page file.

Get more memory. A "memory optimizer" will not help in anyway.

Not from My experience...4Gig of Kingston1066 costs around £90 at the moment but that has jumped up from around £50 a couple of months ago

Thanx for info guys! I knew memory optimizers are junk ,but i should ask this.
Does one more 512 MB stick will do the work? Right now i'm looking for the cheapest (for many reasons)

1 gig would be better than what you have now. Still no barnstormer, but it would loaf along in an acceptable way. Also make sure you disable the startups. That will free up some RAM.

1 GB would be better, but if it's an older computer, you need to see what in it now and see if there are slots available.
