    FPS problem Sony Vaio VPCYB35AN

    Hi!

Given: I have a Sony Vaio VPCYB35AN around 5-6 yrs old.
2 GB Ram, 1.65 GHz dual core AMD e-450 apu
32 bit Windows 7 home premium 320 Gb hard disk
Laptop was shipped with Windows 7 starter, I used anytime upgrade!
AMD HD 6320 graphics 949mb total graphics memory and 384 mb dedicated video memory

    Problem:

Its been a year I started playing a flash based browser game called 'Tanki Online'.
I could play this game on 55-60 fps (60 being max fps) for over 5 months and I was still on win 7 home premium.
Then came the win 10 free offer. I installed Win 10 and then resuming with my daily laptop usage. Win 10 was working fine except a few drivers missing as laptop manufacturer hadn't made compatible drivers then. Still, that game worked at 58-60 fps.

Then as days progressed my fps began to drop. I disabled all the extra graphics in game settings that made my fps go from 40 to 50.
few more days passed and fps dropped to 14-16. that's damn lag!
I was upset about that so I reset win 10 keeping all files. I again played the game then it gave me 56-60 fps.

I assessed the performance and found out that after resetting win 10, that game gave me 56-60 fps for 20 days, 40 fps 5 days after that and 15 fps after that. Thus in a month: 30 days, fps be like 58, 40, 15

I cant afford to reset my laptop every month. I did that for 2-3 months maybe.

So, I reverted back to win 7 starter---> Home premium. (complete wipe and install, not a restore)
Then that game gave me 56 fps for 2 months and after that a laggy 15 fps till now.

    What I did?
Turned off animations, transparency (now it looks grayish)
    uninstalled any useless programs
    and many more.

Before upgrading to win 10 that game gave me 58 fps constantly and not for 2 months 4 months like that. it was smooth 58 fps at highest video settings of game.

So, now it is a 15 fps since 4-5 months, Please help!!

    Thanks,
    Anup :)

(The game is completely flash based and needs to be played either on browser, standalone flash player or steam. Internet access: Yes! its online game as name suggests)

Check my signature for a msconfig tutorial, it'll help speed up the machine. Then, possibly run ccleaner, to remove all your caches
