Slow, unresponsive Task Manager

My task manager is very slow to come up with the edit window which used to be instantaneous. Then it says it's not responding. Then it's OK. As long as I don't restart, no more problems. So it's just at startup. I wonder if it has anything to do with a conflict between Macrium and the updated Malwarebytes premium since I think that's about when the problem started happening. I went into the event viewer and all I saw from around the time of the last event was this.

Schannel alerts 36887 The following fatal alert was received: 70. This occurred twice

Info on that took me to a sales ad for a Surface.

I looked up any other Schannel alerts & found one:

36888: The following fatal alert was generated: 10. The internal error state is 10.

I read somewhere that Malwarebytes was creating large Macrium log files among other problems. I wonder if it's causing problems with the Microsoft Management Console and if anyone knows how to diagnose this problem.

Thanks for reading this far.
