    Very Slow Start Up

I've been experiencing very slow start times on my SSD. When I first installed it it started up within seconds. Now once I hit the Windows Loading Screen it takes up to 2 minutes before I'm on my Desktop. This is still happening ever after a fresh format/install. Can anyone please help me figure out how to fix this? Let me know what other information you'll need.

    Thanks

    Welcome to the Forum.

How long does it take to boot in Safe Mode (F8)?

    Heya MegaHertz07,

Yes booting in safe mode took just as long.

You may have a disk issue. Backup your data files.
    Schedule a disk check
Open Explorer, right click on C: - properties - Tools tab - Error check - Check now. Schedule for next boot.
    Pay attention to the results.

Did disk check and no issues were found.

    Strange!!
    - Normal and Safe boot took the same time, so it isn't a start up program.
    - Check disk found no problem, so it isn't the disk.

Open device manager to see if there is any driver alert (yellow mark).

Dork867. How much space is spare on your SSD. Windows needs at least 10% minimum spare on the drive to work properly. Also SSDs need over provisioning space as well, which is used by the SSD controller & this is also usually set at 10%. As your SSD is 83.84 gb perhaps it is getting close to full.

The benchmark you have supplied is slow for an SSD. Below is a screen shot of my Samsung SSD.

You have plenty of space so that is not the problem.
