where does powercfg store its current state, and why can't I override?
I have endless problems with sleep.
Right now, claims that PID 5724 has a file open over the network. However, there is currently no PID 5724 running on my machine. Process explorer does not find any such file handle, either (from any user or system). I probably did have that file open yesterday in a process that has long since exited, but powercfg doesn't seem to have noticed.Code:powercfg -requests
So, I would like to at least see where this erroneous info is stored, in the hopes of hacking it.
Also, unfortunately, there does not seem to be a way to restart the power service, which might fix the problem.
Thanks.
