No space left in C drive, what is going on?

    Hello everyone.
I have a problem with my C drive, it has no space left, 3 giga out of 112, it has been gradually filling up in space without me noticing until it reached this low point, and I have no idea why, I barely have any programs installed, and all of my media/songs/games downloads I download to my E drive.
There is absolutely no justification to my C drive being so full.
Even 2 weeks ago I had 12 giga bytes left, and today I have only 3, last week I had 6, how? what takes up so much space? I ran CC cleaner, barely cleared up any space, I also ran the built it drive clean up by windows and it didn't clear up anything.
I ran an anti-virus check and anti-malware check and both didn't find anything.
I ran windirstat and uploaded the screenshot of the findings.
apparently windows and programs files take almost everything, but according to the windirstat it shows I'm supposed to have 12 giga bytes left, yet my computer shows only 3.

I'd appreciate help on this matter, this is worrying and making me nervous, something is eating up all of my C drive space and I have no idea what it is.

Welcome to the forums. I am on a phone so can't see very well but it looks like you have 139 gig in programme files. Have you any backup's that may be running? Try running disk cleanup

Please edit your profile with ALL your data specs.

Is C: a SSD drive. Is your data on a HDD?

My Windows folder has only 29G and yours 103G. Expand Windows folder to see witch folder is getting big.
    Have a look at
    C:\Windows\Temp
    C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download

Would it be possible to make the graphic a little bigger in an image editing program? Or even just blow up the numerical part?

Just click the image. It gets big enough to read the numbers just fine. :)

Thanks. I have 60 programs and the x86 and x64 folders contain only 5.4 GB.
My Windows folder is only 22 GB. So let's look...

Go To: Control Panel>System>System Protection. Click on your C Drive then click on Configure.

It will show how much System Restore File space is in "Current Use". Usually this is the biggest and fastest user of unnecessary disk space. You can drop the "Max Usage" percentage to 10% or less to recover excess space set aside for these files right there in that window, and don't forget to press Apply before you exit if you decide to reduce it.
