If your RAM is still in good shape, then you should check your hard drive, which is maybe occupied and slow your computer down. Just uninstall some unnecessary service tools, software to see if anything changes

Hi
The drive is half full and has no unnecessary programs or content. The drive passed all Seatools tests and since drive benchmarks rely so much on CPU and Ram they tell little, AFAIK. The disabling of drive search has also been a great boon, I installed Agent Ransack Agent Ransack Mythicsoft and my searches are quicker and more accurate, so it's win/win. Regards Daniel |

laptop slow My daughter has an acer laptop with windows 7 home premium. It is really slow. She does not appear to have any malware(malwarebytes antiwalware). She uses AVG free and it shows nothing. Her hard drive has more free space than used. What else can I check to help her out? Thanks, Debbie |
