    Strange Win 7 Error Message....

A colleague running under Windows 7 has been getting strange error messages very recently...

    While operating Firefox...

    "NO SCRIPT WARNING
No Script detected a potential cross-site Scripting Attack
    from: https.//*.****.com to https: //*-*****.****.com
    Suspicious data:
    https://******.******.com/[/URL] renderer/ubr/13.0.2/ubr-wrapper.htm#d

He also got locked out of Facebook; FB informed him somebody in PA was trying to log in
with his PW, and urged him to change it.

This has all the hallmarks of a hack-attack...?

    Likely.

Looks like NoScript (a FF add-on) blocked it.

Which version of FireFox does your friend use?

    The new version is '57.0.

Also, what security programs are used active?

He just installed the latest version of Firefox last week. He uses Avast! for AV.

Latest Firefox Quantum requires to update most add on, including No Script.
