If you can boot your computer to BIOS setup utility then its not faulty motherboard its the corrupted Windows OS that is causing the boot problem.

What you can do is connect the HDD that is connected to computer that is not booting to a working computer and replace registry hives stored in \windows\system32\config folder with registry hives stored in Windows\System32\config\RegBack folder and connect the HDD to not booting computer to find out if Windows OS will boot.

The registry hives and backups of the registry hives are stored at the HDD that is connected to the computer that is not booting.

Ok so I was trying to install dell quickset which doesn't work no matter what I do since I upgraded to 8gb or ram and installed a ssd. Hi, I used to have Vista (32-bit) on the machine, 4 GB RAM installed on the motherboard. Vista was able to allocate around 3.00 GB for itself, with a videocard that had 256 megs of RAM on it. As my old video card busted, I changed it into Club3D's Geforce GTS 250 with 1 GB of memory, and...
