Software to let u know services installed by a program ?

Hello Folks,

I want to know if there is any software to list the various services that are installed
by a software. This is because in the services list (in control panel), i see many
entries and moreover one has to be sure about the particular service before turning it off.
I need to turn off some particular services which i don't need now to improve the
performance.
System OS : Windows 7
Regards

You could run MSCONFIG and click on the Services tab. Then check the box that says "Hide all non-Microsoft services". You will then see a list of all non-Microsoft services that are running, as well as any which are installed but disabled by MSCONFIG. You can disable any that you want. Just keep in mind that you may need some of them; for example, one (or more) will pertain to your anti-virus software. You don't want to disable that one.

To see what might make your computer go faster, disable one of the ones shown, then reboot. You will be able to see if disabling that one helped make the computer faster, i.e. if that one was slowing things down. If it didn't help, you can re-enable it in MSCONFIG.

Keep disabling (and perhaps re-enabling) them one at a time, till you have gone through all of them.

If your computer is really slow, the above procedure could help you to fix the problem, because the slowness may be caused by a misbehaving service.

@mrjimphelps Thanks so much. Actually i was trying to find out the services that are installed by EaseUS Partition Master.
It is reported in the TuneUp Program deactivator as being "Enabled". I was trying to disable the service that belongs to Easeus.
It would be good if someone would help me locate the service.

You can probably eliminate a lot of them as being obviously not part of EaseUS. For example, if you have an HP printer or scanner, those which start with "HP" are likely for the HP device, not for EaseUS.

If you like, list the ones you aren't sure about, and perhaps someone can figure out which one is for EaseUS TuneUp. Or do a search on the ones you think might be for EaseUS, and you might find out which one is for TuneUp.
