C Drive Excessive Size in Windows Temp
Hello the Forum,
My C Drive (Main Sys) is running about 113GB. Most all of my programs are installed on the P: drive, Data,Pictures,Projects... on D: (DATA). Just recently check my drives fullness, found C; keeps growing. Too full.
Using Disk cleanup on c: did not cut much out. Now, used TreeSize Free program, I see I have 35GB under C:/ ...Microsoft/Windows/Temporary Internet Files/Low/Content.IE5/ and then numerous scrambled named Folders contains files both old and current.
Many files Last Modified in 2016 and 2017! Disk Cleanup did not delete these. Most all are .MP4s and .DAT. Why is it that disk cleanup did not erase these old temp files??
My internet explorer v11. I guess it just keeps using the Content.IE5 folder.
There are about 17 of the scrambled folder names (like WECV0OXA) each folder contains at least 1 currently opened file (showing last date modified as today)!
What is best way to remove these old files? Manually?
Thanks, Stan
