Strange Problem: Windows 7 64-bit booting up slow all of a sudden...

OK so I'll try to make this as brief as possible. I created this account so i could post this to try and get some help. I'm so frustrated with this problem I have no idea where else to turn...

Computer specs: -Windows 7 64 bit Home edition -Gigabyte 970A-DS3P FX (v 2.0) -AMD FX 8120 cpu (I know not the best choice) -16gb ddr3 1333 ram 4x4 sticks (wierd brand name) -Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 Strix GPU (2gb) -Toshiba 1TB Sata 3.5 regular 7200rpm HDD -Kingdian 60gb Solid state Sata Drive -Thermaltake 650W power supply -Cooler Master Hyper T2 cpu cooler fan

(edit) Windows 7 64bit is installed on my regular 1TB hard drive.

OK so this all started a few weeks ago. I have the CPU overclocked to 3.6ghz from the stock 3.1. Idles around 22celcius and under load won't top 38celcius.

Anywho I play PubG alot. I have Steam client and my PubG game all installed on my solid state drive. Made a HUGE difference in loading the map.

Anyway I had a little issue with Steam where Pubg would update but it would freeze in the middle of the update and Steam would pretty much crash. ALSO I'm not sure why but when this happened I looked at my solid state drive and when this would happen the SSD would have an extra 10GB taken up (no idea why)

Anywho after this happened the first time I Uninstaller Steam, Pubg, everything and then reinstalled everything. 1 week later this sane problem happened again. Steam crashed, update froze, couldent even use steam even when restarted. Look at Solid state drive again and extra 10GB taken up out of nowhere again.

I end up in installing steam amd pubg again. Restart my computer and all of a sudden windows takes about 3-5 minutes to boot up on the windows logo. Thought maybe it was a virus? So I ended up reformatting my PC and staring from scratch. Computer loads slow EVERY single time it starts up now. 3-5 minutes of boot up. Also to top it off the PC will NOT detect my Solid state drive at all anymore.

I've reformatted multipul times, reset bios multipul times, ran single ram sticks and switch them around but I CANNOT for the life of me figure this problem out.

Ive ran memory scans, registry scans, disk scans, virus scans. No problems detected. I'm at my wits end. I've been tried everything and I don't know what else it would be.

Could anywho help me out? Any suggestions?

Evidently there is something loading at startup which is slowing everything down. It may be steam-related, it may not be. Here's how to troubleshoot and fix the problem:

Run MSCONFIG. Click on the Services tab. Check the box which says Hide all Microsoft Services. Click OK and then reboot the computer.

Use the computer a bit. See if the above has solved the problem. If it has, then one (or more) of your non-Microsoft services is the culprit.

To fix: Run MSCONFIG and click on the Services tab. Re-enable one of the non-Microsoft services, then reboot. See if the problem comes back. If not, then run MSCONFIG again, and re-enable another non-Microsoft service, then reboot. See if the problem comes back. Keep doing this until the problem comes back; you will then know which service was the culprit. Make note of the problematic service, and disable it again so that it will quit causing problems. And go through this with the remaining services, to make sure that there are no other problematic services.

This procedure will fix your problem. But you will have disabled something in order to achieve the solution. Whatever it is that you disabled now won't work, because it is disabled. If you can live with that, you're good to go.

As you reinstalled win and you mentioned "Look at Solid state drive again and extra 10GB taken up out of nowhere again", I would say that you have a disk problem.
Run a disk check on each disk.

Guys, gals, could the overclocking be adding to this situation?
