I have opened EasyBCD and find only one entry, and have gone into 'Startup and Recovery' to find the same one entry. Looking in BCDEdit, I see two pointers to the registry, titled recoverysequence and resumeobject and suspect one of these, or both, may be the cause. Can I delete the two, and will doing so resolve this issue (or change recoveryenabled 'Yes' to 'No')?

1. Startsearchbox
2. Type "msconfig" into the Search field, then select "msconfig.exe" from the search results. Click "Yes" to allow the program to run.
3. Select the "Boot" tab.
4. Select your preferred operating system from the list and click "Set as Default."
5. Change the "Timeout" field to zero seconds.
6. Click "OK" to save the changes and exit the System Configuration window.
7. Click the "Restart" button if you want to apply the changes right away; otherwise, click "Exit Without Restart."
You may have to flash BIOS.
I had a desktop a few months ago with same issue, after much ado, flashing BIOS solved problem.
