Can't delete Win7 install folders from desktop - Security Issue

    Hi all,
So I was trying to ready up a USB stick for installing Win7 back onto my wifes computer and had to put install files temporarily on my desktop. Install is fine, all is well there, but now when I try to delete these installation files security is telling me that I need permission from myself (computername/me) to delete files. I've tried all sorts of changes to security settings as suggested by other knowledgeable sites but nothing works. I have all the permissions available as they are all checked but any changes I try to make I get the attached error message box and of course can't delete files. I've tried so-called unlocker/deleter programs but they also error out. This is about 10GB of junk on my desktop that I could probably live with but why can't I get rid of it? What's wrong with the security on my pc (is there a log file I can upload that will explain this better to you guys?)

    Can't delete Win7...SOLVED

Fixed it myself. I guess somewhere in the mix I lost ownership or never had ownership of the folders/files in question. After a few changes were made the files were deleted.

Awesome! Malwarebytes has several other excellent tools/scanner/anti-malware, etc.
