    Drive (not 'Disk') Cleanup

Is there here a tutorial or a full discussion topic regarding this? It is my understanding that this function 'refreshes' the computer, especially when one is always installing and removing drives, especially various & varied usb drives over time.

    thx Shawn -

I could not find anything there because I goofed on the op. I use/have used alot of different and diverse external and usb flash drives over the years and most install their own drivers. Over time most are never used again. I was concerned with 'clutter' and was thinking that there is a 'drive cleaner' utility that would refresh or cleanup all my ports. Does the disk cleanup utility already address this? Should I not be concerned regarding this?

I wouldn't worry about the USB drives. It's not going to affect anything.

If you like, you could check in Device Manager to see if any of these never to be used again devices may still be listed. If they are, you could uninstall them.
