Okay Luiz, thanks for the reply. Well I do not have a Win 7 disk to do a "fresh" install. Built myself, got copy from my son-in-law who got it from his boss. So the OP sys would have to come from the HDD. That might kill option 1.

This is what I have- an EXTERNAL HDD with all photos, docs, data? Etc, etc. Also have a Flash Drive with same stuff. So I guess option 2 is the only option? Sounds like a lot of work...

Thought we could just "clone" the OP sys. Not possible- huh?

From post #8 your disk has:
    976657407 KB total disk space.
    336765560 KB in 234591 files.

The OS and programs files is around 40 to 55G. This gives a minimum of 280G in data files.
How big is your external HDD?

The link has expired as it's only valid for 24 hours
New link Win 7 pro 64

Please apply the eicfg_removal_utility to the ISO you've downloaded and burn a DVD.

    Lets clean your HDD.
    Run Disk cleanup (%windir%\system32\cleanmgr.exe)
Do you have CCleaner installed? This is a portable Run it: Thanks for downloading CCleaner
Go to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download and delete all files and folders.
How much space you have now on C: ?

    Back again.
Please open Disk management (C:\Windows\System32\diskmgmt.msc), expand the window and the columns so we can read them and with a the snipping toll (%windir%\system32\SnippingTool.exe) take a snapshot of the hole window and paste it here as an attachment. Use the paper clip on the answer window - browse to the file - upload.

Do you have active bitlocker (drive encryption)?
