Welcome to the Forum.

This is the fist time I hear about files latency.

You used a program that measured the latency on *.sys files.
What it means high latency on those files?
Is there anything that can be done to change the latency?
What does this latency affect the overall performance of the computer?

If you want to improve the computer performance, install a small SSD (128G) for Windows and programs and use your HDD for data only. Boots in 20 sec and opens programs at a blink of an eye.

High latency implies that there was trouble processing a DPC or ISR, which commonly causes problems mainly with the sound.
@podkaracz, please check MSI for USB and/or chipset drivers for updates and do the same for any USB device drivers attached to the system.

Love this forum as I'm always learning something new.

I see that you have a Sky lake Chipset (H110M) and a Kaby lake CPU (I5 7400). Have you the latest BIOS?

Hello podkaracz,
I see from the System Specs that you have quite modern motherboard. Perhaps your BIOS supports HPET? Check your BIOS and see if the HPET setting is enabled. Enabling HPET is known to help reduce microsutters, and can help improve audio work and DPC latencies.

Just to confirm, I hope you didn't use device manager to update the device drivers? 'cause it's rare that device manager actually updates drivers.
