Open with after reboot

    Open with after reboot


    Hi ALL,


    Everytime after reboot twice "Open with" window appears.
    I have to cancel them and the restarting proceeds normally. The functionality of OS and programs are not affected.
    Any advice how to correct this annoyance?

    Click on the Start Orb & in the search box type msconfig, when that opens select the Start Up tab & see what is set to open during start up. Generally speaking you really only need the Anti Virus to show on start up, so you can usually untick all the others.

I find this Lion feature to be quite awesome. Can someone point me to a setting / program / hack for Win7 that would do the same?
I maintain several Windows 7 pcs and have Norton Antivirus 2011 installed on them. Sometimes, but not always (of course), I cannot open Norton unless I reboot. Sometimes I even have to uninstall and reinstall NAV. Anyone had that problem?
