Why does my disc drive eject when I close out of iTunes?

I've had this issue for about two months now in which whenever I close out of iTunes my disc tray ejects. I took my computer apart and made sure the cd drive plugs were in tight. I am not sure why this keeps happening. Any thoughts?

I would check to see if your CD drive is your default drive in iTunes. If it is, change the iTunes default drive to a different drive.

    How do I do that?

I don't know, but that's all I could think of.
