    Microsoft Telemetry service?

    Hi,

I noticed since the previous months updates, this service running for a while on startup, using high CPU and RAM usage, stays for a few mins (maybe 10) and than disappears.

What's it significance and how can one safely stop/uninstall it, doesn't show in services.....

    Thanks.

Look for it under task schedule.

Here is a site that explain the telemetry and how to avoid it.

cmd file to uninstall those KB files.
    kb_spy.cmd.txt
Rename it as KB_Spy.cmd and run it.

    Thanks, appreciate your expert assistance.

Do I need to uninstall all 12 updates? Like I don't have KB971033 on my system?

    I shouldn't be concerned........

    EDIT:

    Does this look fine...
