Can anyone help me with deciphering DISM results?

Hello all, I just ran a DISM scanhealth and I believe the results are in my favor but want a second opinion to be sure. I can't find anything online to help me understand what it means so figured I would come here.

In short here is what I got after running the scan:

    Summary:
    Seconds executed: 715
    Found 98 errors
    Fixed 98 errors
CSI F Mark Bad Type Total count: 90
Fixed: CSI F Mark Bad Type. Total count: 90
CSI Missing Winning Component Key Total count: 8
Fixed: CSI Missing Winning Component Key. Total count: 8

Does this mean I am in the clear and that everything was fixed? I would appreciate any information. I would like to add I won't click on any links here so please don't add any, no offense I just don't like clicking links or downloading anything. All I'm just wondering is if it fixed the errors or not. Thank you in advance for your expert advice, have a wonderful day!

The Dism++ instructions are literally in Chinese. I've used it only for D/L Win updates. It says "scanhealth" doesn't exist on mine. And what does it do when you have it? Does it fix corrupted system files?

The disk Cleanup feature looks similar to Glary Utilities.

    I have v. x64 10.1.1000.100

    Hi All,
    Greets,
@thumpergirl : All applause for you! Would you like to share how you did that with DISM commands, etc. on windows 7 ? It would be helpful for us!
@RoWin7 : DISM is not fully supported on win 7 but anyhow she is doing wonders!
( She originally came up with the problem here : DISM error 3 when trying to run a SCANHEALTH )

    Thanks & Regards. ...

I think you will find that they are referring to DISM++ which runs nicely on Win 7. It is excellent for downloading and installing WU's, importing and exporting drivers etc.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi Sir,
    Greets,

    (a) I think thumpergirl is talking about traditional DISM command line & not DISM++.

    (b) DISM++ is based on Traditional DISM commands + other added things. Many paid & free utilities use DISM as the base or in some parts + additions. For eg. DISM++, PowerISO, NTLite, DISM GUI, etc.

    (c) DISM Scan Health is not supported on / for win7. Even if one uses DISM++ >Recovery > Scan Health, It will run on / for win 8 & 10 but not for win 7. So, I am curious!

( If anybody is planning fresh Win 7 installation, he should integrate Latest Simplix Pack & go for the install. After that one can use DISM++ for WU.
I ran DISM++ multiple times & it listed all the updates but did not automatically select 78 updates which were later installed by Simplix Pack.
Actually the fact is : If one use DISM++, he has to go through the purpose of each & every listed update one by one & be sure to include all the prerequisite updates for it as well. If one does so, still its a rather difficult & lengthy process. Because before the installation, he has to decide whether he will need an update or not. The other way is to make the install, come across difficulties / performance issues & then install windows updates one by one carefully including prerequisites as well.
Therefore, to speed up the process of reaching a stable stage / OS, at least, initially go with Simplix Pack Integration or installation & thereafter use DISM++.
In my opinion : Drop using DISM++ for WU for Win 7, Integrate the latest Simplix Pack in the ISO itself & thereafter use latest released Simplix Pack from time to time to update the installed OS. It is very wise & takes care about already installed updates, prerequisites, disabled windows features & all the other things!)

    Thanks & Regards. ...

As you have probably seen from the many posts on this forum that at one time DISM++ was the reliable way to go!
However, more recently you will have seen that we recommend SIMPLIX as the far better and thorough solution.

This is because SIMPLIX is a far better and thorough solution.

I would recommend sticking with the SIMPLIX pack as your Win updating method.

    Sir,
I agree 100% with you. Simplix is the best!
To say truly : DISM++ is good for other things but not for WU for Win 7 at least! What is good there if it does not select all the critical, security & recommended & their prerequisites on its own. We have to decide over & carefully include their prerequisites as well.
What I do is : Install Kaspersky Free Antivirus on my win 7 with Advanced Disinfection disabled & regularly look for latest Simplix Pack. I download the pack, disconnect from internet, disable Kaspersky & install the Simplix pack. Then a restart, all required Updates are installed & Kaspersky automatically comes active on the boot.
Its doing all good but of course the download is always somewhere around 700 MB.

    Thanks & Regards. ...
