I do get your point about parent & child even if changing one of them is, in a coding sense, not different of whaat microsoft is doing since windows 3.1 : adding more and more layers to an antique core, nothing would prevent adding a 'previous state' holding name and reference of the previous parent because it seems to me that dropping at level 0 (system) processes started at level 1 (by explorer) is kinda weakening their environment by allowing them what shouldn't if explorer was still their parent.

Anyway, this is just semantic and rhetorical for a windows so... dusty.

Task Manager will not end a process?!!
Hi there... I get this now and then and it is really annoying. It happens the most with Firefox internet browser but I also get it on other things. Basically the program hangs and then I can not kill it off the task manager. Now win7 "can" do it cause if i reboot it kills it before rebooting......
