HP 8300 error 515 power supply fan not detected after upgrading PSU

HP 8300 error 515 power supply fan not detected after upgrading PSU

What do I do to bypass/ignore this error? I can SEE the fan is spinning just fine but its so annoying having to press F1 every time i turn on my pc

    please help
The bios does not help me. the only option is "bypass F1 prompt on configuration changes" but that does not stop the F1 prompt for power supply fan not detected problem.

Too complicated and mine is HP 8300.
is there another way? Can I just run a jumper wire from CPU fan signal to the fan signal for the PSU?

You can try. If it doesn't work, you could try a mobo jumper as in the second video.

motherboard jumper wont work as its not a chassis fan thats the problem. its the "power supply" fan specifically so i dont think that will work.

I'll try the wire fan jumper thing later.
