Index zipped files?

Hello all. I backed a up folder from my Win 7 HDD to external SSD as .zip file (using Backup Maker). Then I tried searching within the file, and no results (no surprise), but the suggestion came up to index it. Can Windows index .zip files, or was that just a generic message? Thanks.

Hi 386DX,

Sure can!

Click the Start button and click on Computer.
Press the ALT key and click Tools > Folder Options.
Under the Search tab, check Include compressed files, and click OK.
