sfc scannow corrupt files found

Hi friends,

I'm posting this from my dad's old 2GB RAM PC. I had it formatted just few days back & there's huge lagging issues on the system - it takes nearly 5-10 minutes for windows to load. My dad said, it took him 1hr to open in the morning

I ran sfc scannow - it found corrupt files, it did even before I formatted the system as well. It says the corrupt files have been fixed but looks like the same thing repeats again. Last time before format it said, fixed issues after restarting - again it found corrupt files - asking for reboot to effect changes = as if its on a loop.

I'm attaching the current cbs file, will upload one after rebooting too.

The CBS log says "Reboot mark refs incremented to: 1", meaning
it should reboot and execute one more time.

If it keeps happening, then it may be locked in a loop.

If you keep getting errors it might be a sign the hard drive is going out.

Thanks friends, actually first scan showed errors but the second scan took ages to complete & didn't find any errors this time but system was super slow. Took it to the repair shop & the persons stated, hdd wire was loose - so it was causing the issue. He set it rite & its working fine since then

You might perform a test on the HDD to check it's health. Follow this tutorial:
