Using Print Screen Function Slows System

I've noticed that if I press the Print Screen button on the keyboard, then open MS Paint and copy the image, this makes the system really lag afterwards. It didn't do this formerly. Any ideas what could be causing this or any solution?

    Hi debodun,
What changed on your system before this started?
What processes are running/continue to run when you perform the action in question?
    task manager or process explorer

Nothing had changed that I can pinpoint - I haven't downloaded or installed anything new in quite some time.

Sometimes one of the scvhost.exe is running, but not always.
