IAStorIcon.exe/Intel "delayed launch"/Disabling&Elimination startup

Using single drive on PC and curious about IASTORICON.exe and the Intel delayed launch in startup of my system. Will disabling IASTORicon.exe in the services and the elimination of the Intel "delayed launch" in msconfig services have any adverse effects on my PC. Any thoughts ideas appreciated. TIA

Disabling more Aero animations and "X" button "glow"
While there are a (small) handful of features of Aero that i'd like to use, there are many more that slow down the UI and/or make it distracting that I can't find a way to disable. (I even tried the "Basic" theme but it has a bug that discards font size settings made under the now-misnamed...

Windows latest build - 7061 "Almost" out in the wild RC1 delayed to May
Hi there It seems that yet another build (7061) might hit "The usual places" soon -- this is "reputed" to be near RC1 but not near enough so this build needs testing (7061) as well. Looks like Microsoft has quite a bit more work to do before the actual RC1 however - -- now delayed until May...
